Ajit is a corporate-commercial lawyer and leads the Firm’s team of legal professionals. With almost three decades of experience across advisory, transactional and contentious work, he has represented leading corporates and reputed clients in mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, joint ventures, litigation and arbitration. He also acts as an arbitrator.

He regularly appears before the Supreme Court of India, the Delhi and Bombay High Courts, the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, the National Company Law Tribunal, the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission and the Competition Commission of India, and has appeared before several High Courts across the country. He advises foreign and domestic companies on a wide range of Indian law issues.

Ajit speaks regularly at professional and industry conferences in India and abroad, has served as a visiting lecturer at the University of Mumbai, and has commented on topical legal issues in print and electronic media.

He studied at the universities of Nagpur, Mumbai and Dundee (UK) and holds two LL.M. degrees, one earned in the United Kingdom as a Chevening Scholar of the UK Government.

Siddhant is a litigation lawyer with wide experience in corporate-commercial litigation and arbitration, and co-heads the Firm’s Delhi office. He has represented leading corporates and reputed clients in litigation and arbitration assignments.

He appears regularly before the Supreme Court of India, the Delhi High Court, NCLAT New Delhi, NCLT, NCDRC and other fora in New Delhi, and also acts as an arbitrator in commercial disputes.

He advises foreign and domestic companies, including government undertakings, on issues of Indian law. He is an alumnus of Delhi University and a member of the Bar Council of Delhi.

Rahul is a litigation lawyer with over 25 years of experience in constitutional, civil, commercial and criminal litigation, and co-heads the Firm’s Nagpur office.

Mr. Anekar is a former District Judge who served in various judicial capacities for over 25 years.

In his long judicial career he dealt with matters across many branches of law, including civil, property, commercial, criminal, employment and employee and accident compensation.

He brings this judicial experience to the Firm’s advice on legal issues and provides guidance in devising litigation strategy for complex proceedings.

Shreya is pursuing the five-year Bachelor of Laws course at the University of Mumbai while interning with the Firm.

She works on legal research, assists in preparing research papers and drafting pleadings, and is involved in the Firm’s litigation and arbitration matters, which gives her a grounding in the practical side of law.

She is also studying French and has recently passed the DALF C1 examination.
